The start of 2020 has brought a scary virus in the world by the name of Coronavirus from the provenance of Wuhan/China. The virus shares the same name as the Corona Extra, which is a beer brand known worldwide. Since the heavy mediatization of the virus around the globe, many people believed that the Coronavirus has something to do with the beer brand Corona Extra.
Many people still believe that the Corona Extra beer contains the virus, even if it has been publicly stated that the Coronavirus has absolutely nothing do do with the beer brand that ironically shares the same name.
This has brought a huge issue for the brand as many people stopped purchasing their products just because they think that it may have something to do with the virus.
