A new step in the war against COVID19 in Italy: most companies have to stop.

Two weeks of social distancing and prohibition of going outdoor (except for work, food and health problems) made the life here in Italy not easy. Anxiety and fear are around us while the reports about new infected and new deaths are just a little better. Infected are 59138 so far. 7027 healed. 5478 are dead. Number of infected is still growing up but its speed is a little smaller in the last days.

Italian Government announced yesterday, in the night, a new decision: all the activities, companies and business not considered not crucial will have to stop. Shops are already closed since March 9, except for food stores, pharmacies, banks, post offices and other basic services.

People use medical masks and gloves. Shops let people in just in limited number so there are lines of folks out of food stores.

We are fine, we stay home. We wait for this "war" to has a end - in the uncertainty of not knowing when it will happen.

I see other Countries have not closed everything so far, expecially out of Europe: I fear it is exactly how the virus spread around - it is what happened here. So, please, do not wait for your Government to say you what is needed: wear masks, do not touch people and stay 1 meter away from everyone outdoor. I know it is hard to do this for working people that have to take bus and train to go to work but I think life matters more than that. If you are young probably you won't die from Covid19 but you can infect older people who are more vulnerable.

So, I don't know, I'm anxious for my friends in US, in Venezuela, in Chile and around the world. Stay safe. Please, be careful.
