I’ve been sleeping so well in the last week or so.

Not sure about you but I’ve been waking up refreshed this last week or so.

I mean sure, there is a lot going on and we are at the early stages of this global isolation due to coronavirus but it’s been having a few upsides as well in terms of getting much needed rest.

It’s so linked to our focus and determination to keep our heads above water as well. If you are stressed out or full of anxiety you just can’t get anything done so I’m super thankful for the sleep and recovery time.

less stressing about recalibrating my week around between certain days. I’ve just got a straight show (if I’m able) to focus up each and everyday and jumped back into all the outstanding things.

Don’t get me wrong here, the numbers rising and all the news still impacts me but I’m adapting to the energy of it all — this morning I got up, got dressed, had water, made coffee, cleaned down surfaces, washed my hands properly as per guidance and jumped straight into my bear app editor.

I think that’s crucial in these current climates.

Get your mind into gear and right first before you delve into news updates and such like, literally just jump in, it’s what I used to do when I was using 750words and I really enjoyed seeing the analyse after a month of doing it.

Excited to get out there today, it’s sunny, quiet, calm even, little frosty and dew under foot no doubt but I’m prepared to get some steps in, get that oxygen in my lungs and then do my chores for the morning before writing out all these ideas for courses I’ve had in the last few weeks.

I think I’m coming out of the reflection mindset of the last couple of weeks of what’s been happening in other peoples lives and boy oh boy did the stoic ‘awareness’ month really hit hard this month.

Since the start of march and the first seven days felt like every single daily title was relevant for what was happening on steem, seriously it was like a playbook, an almanac almost of the outcomes — maybe I’ll do a video about each page and you’ll see what I mean.

Adaptation is the game is where my head is at currently, the big realisation and reality that we need to adapt with the current flow of information as we cascade into this depression of economy.

In some ways both myself and dayle have been practicing this for the last few years anyway.

We kinda fell into it, wanting to optimise, buy bulk, spread the load across the week, plan out the week ahead and hit it hard — I dropped the ball with my inability to focus up at times but we made great headway with it.

Certainly feeling more at ease with the reality of now and while obviously things like money and food are going to be front and centre I also recognise this is an opportunity mindset time as well.

I’ve been remote working and mostly in isolation for the last few years anyway so I think we both have a lot to offer to that conversation — maybe we will set something up this week and get back to video and podcasting together again on unfr.ee

Listen, stay safe out there, wash ya hands, stay isolated, minimise the social groupings, remember that kids that have just stopped school are home now all the time so let’s give that a few weeks before we start mingling again.

Truth is, it might be a while before we can do any of that again safely until we have some kind of vaccine or better advice, until then — think surfaces, don’t touch ya face, get exercise, eat and drink clean.

Peace and Love,
__humble xx
