Counterparty (XCP) a very underpriced gem

in #counterparty8 years ago

Recently I made this chart about a coin that is not getting much attention around the space:

Most of the times, when a coin is not being spammed around I tell to myself it's a good buy and hold. When twitter gurus start shilling it, the accumulation time is over and followers and less informed people start buying at market thus driving the price much higher. If you're quick in this timespan you can profit nonetheless, it's rare that known people on twitter make calls that later don't work out. But there are not many people that will call the very bottom out, and that's what I think I'm doing with these coin right now.

Counterparty is a very interesting project built on top of Bitcoin blockchain which permits the creation of tokens upon this coin and makes it easier to store and exchange tokens between them. Counterparty has a unique feature that then gets passed to tokens built on it: the burning. Everytime a token gets spent, a small part of those tokens gets burned, becoming unusable and thus lowering the supply, which of course drives the price of remaining tokens up.
To this present day there are only 2,6m xcp existing.

Seems right a very few people will have one of these. :)

I will make more post talking about other tokens with solid backgrounds and teams based on counterparty, like databits.

Very good blog. I was about to post a similair thread. How much do we actually know about a coin. It's surprising to me people invest in cryptos that they know nothing about. I really advice people to take a look at: https://www.coincheckup.com This site is really helpful in my coin research. I don't know any other sites with so much indepth analysis. For example: https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Counterparty#analysis To check Counterparty Investment analysis.
