Life In Venezuela, A Hellish Country.

in #country7 years ago

Hello everyone, my name is Nayarith, I am 20 years old and I have lived all my life in Venezuela, a country that now faces a crisis like never seen in its history.

Living here is not easy, day after day I see my friends and family emigrate to get a better quality of life. Every day I see how people I know are killed, either by the underworld or in protests by officials of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB).
I am witness to the social decomposition that has been generated since I was born, families are broken and have lost their values, institutions lend themselves to acts of corruption. Here there is plenty of leverage and favoritism, especially on political issues, that is to say, having or not having a political position can, for example, fired you to work. And our government is the most corrupt, we have a supposed president who is not really Venezuelan (which is illegal, since according to Article 227 of the Constitution, it is required to be Venezuelan by birth and not have another nationality to be President ). This illegitimate president and those who share power with him have turned the country trash. People are tired, humiliated.

I personally have lived terrible experiences, the most terrible was not an experience, rather it was a chronicle of events where we gradually saw how our sector was being taken by criminals, to us. They stole our things and killed our animals, tried to kidnap us and almost killed us but miraculously could not and we had to flee our home. The cops did not do anything, rather, I suspect they had business with the offenders. And like my family and I, there are many other families displaced from their homes because of inefficient security.

I would like the world to witness what is happening here, not out of pity, but to be witnesses and learn from the consequences of a misapplied socialism.

Note: Forgive my English, I'm not good in the language, I used the translator a lot, I'm sorry.

Good luck to you and those that are with you, my friend. Keep the faith. And your English is superb!

Thank you, my friend, I keep hoping and I think it will soon end all this.
