Do you know what biomimetics is or biomimicry?
hello friends of steemit I bring you an interesting topic that I love as biomimetics or biomimicry is nothing more than the science that studies nature as a source of inspiration for new innovative technologies to solve those human problems that nature has solved, through systems models (mechanics) or processes (chemistry), or elements that imitate or are inspired by it.
example of them we have:
1.Biomimetic architecture: a building that is thermoregulated as a termite mound
2.Creation of frictionless current of natural forms
3.Imitating the chromatic patterns of nature to create modular carpets
4.A fabric for swimsuits that reduces friction imitating the skin of a shark
5.Reusable adhesive tape that mimics the grip of the legs of the chameleon
6.Turbines and wings with notches like the fin of a whale
7.Paint that repels water and dirt like lotus
8.Fog water collector and environmental humidity from the beetle
9.Bullet train that reduces its friction imitating the kingfisher's dip
10.Vehicle that mimics photosynthesis
The purpose of this topic is to know your opinion about whether this is a creator's design or product of the chance of an evolution?
Comment I'm interested in your opinion.
Biomimetics is very cool stuff, I just read an article on how scales from dragonfly wings are being used to inspire new physically antimicrobial surfaces.
very good research, I imagine will serve for medical and kitchen appliances
