Coming Up Strong

In the land
of milk and honey

stolen,

brutally,

our
birthrights

where we're
environmentally
crafted

to hate one another

where
lies are the truth

and truth

is the lie

where babies
are often
immediately given
the famed
poisoned apple

(the first "crack")

pleasantly known as

"sugar"

so that

if they're not already born
with an addiction

they'll have one
soon enough

and where we're
constantly misinformed
that
fighting
is
the
only
way.....

there lives
the deep
inner
knowing

that we

are

all we

feel

think

breathe

and
dream...

it's in

the fabric
of our
cells

it's

written
in the stars

it's
our

glorious selves

learning

to love

ourselves

despite
the hardships

the trauma

the
lost
confused
overwhelm

despite the
hating,
fighting

and
rampant
toxins

have heart

for,

grounded

within

the eternal

marl

of truth

we're
