Greeting to all friends |

As the weather is changing, summer is coming, so many changes have taken place, some special things have gone, winter has gone and summer has come, but what I want to talk about today is orange . Which is ending due to the end of winter, because orange is my favorite fruit and also the identity of our district, so today in One Picture One Story, orange is my story.
While traveling on the Motorway from the Lahore side, as you cross the Chenab River Bridge and enter Sargodha limits, you will see a large board with a picture of Maltas and the words "Entering the best citrus producing area". This board is not just a board but an honor that my land has received.
In the 1960s kinow(orange) plants were sent to Pakistan from the university of California ,which were cultivated in different parts of the country but the land of Sargodha not only accepted it with pleasure but also gave such sweetness that Sargodha orange is famous all over the world for its unique taste and size.
More than 14 lakh tons of cano is produced in Sargodha annually, which is why Bhalwal tehsil of Sargodha is called the California of Pakistan.More than 60 types of Malto are produced in Sargodha including Kano, Musmi, Floater, Red Blood, Malta.
