Flow states

According to the partnership for 21st-century skills which includes a collection of 250 researchers at 60 institutions., the quality most desirable in a CEO is creativity. A survey was taken by top executives in up to 60 countries to determine this.

Flow is defined as an optimal state of consciousness where we feel our best and perform our best. It is a form of productivity that is so laser-focused. When in this state everything else just seems to fall away fading into the background. This is a time where creative performance increases.

We are far less critical and more courageous

All in all, finding your flow can positively impact your creative performance and productivity but finding your flow state can be different for everyone as we all have a different way of working whether it's in complete silence or with music playing in the background.

How to find your flow state

Set aside some time to work on a specific task.
Set yourself some achievable goals.
About 75% of the brain is made up of water so keeping hydrated is essential.
