Temple of Dreams (poem)
Evening's tears
Drench the stained glass windows
Shadows etched in the lightning's lure
A blank portrait of me
Dances about the candle's flame
And quiver at the thunder's scold
Yet silence is my realm
Darkness overcame me
As I beheld, in Midnight's wake
The cosmic insurrection
From upon the shore
Of the sea of stars
Which fell upon my head
And whispered to me
Amongst the celestial tempest
Singing requiems for kingdoms past
Then their voices were no more
And yet of what remained
The incandescence of morning's splendor
Into the heavens' flames
It's so cold, buried within
As I freeze unto dawn's summoning
And then I burn away
Into the fractured sky
