Exercises for the brain
Think of any topic and write down 10 (100) ideas about it
Difficulty: 6 out of 10
Time: 60 minutes
Do not limit yourself to topics. For example:
10 (100) ways to have a good time
10 (100) ways to escape from prison
10 (100) ways to swim the ocean
10 (100) ways to effectively use the Internet
10 (100) ways to survive on an uninhabited island
Ideally, you should come up with exactly 100 ways, as this will allow you to go beyond the usual thinking and significantly strain your brain. You can go to the past or the future, be a carpenter or a scout, a man or a woman.
Five Questions
Difficulty: 8 out of 10
Time: 45 minutes
Approach with a person close to you that ask him 5 questions. Think of only one in advance. Listen to the answer and, relying on it, ask the following question.
Repeat this exercise with 5 different people. Thus, you will learn how to ask questions and listen to answers to them.
I noticed for a long time that when communicating with people I often pretend that I'm listening, but I just wait for the interviewee to finish his speech. This approach breaks down the dialogue and does not allow to establish contact with the person. Therefore, putting yourself in a certain frame during a conversation is an excellent strategy that allows you to treat the interlocutor's words consciously and really listen to him. This exercise should be your skill for life, and not just fun entertainment.
Exercise develops the ability to listen, empathy, attentiveness, observation, logical thinking, communication skills, patience.
