Creatively Sane!

in #creativity7 years ago (edited)

What is creativity and how can one become creative? Some say that those who are creative are borderline insane...well, let me tell you, it's the person that lacks the creative ability that is probably insane and their linear thought process lacks 3D skill, colorful emotion and full use of their brain's capacity.

How does the brain work when one is thinking creatively? Anything is possible! All concepts, objects and ideas can be changed, adjusted, imagined in different ways! There are no rules to be followed! This is free thought or thinking at its best.... The brain remembers pictures or objects...associations to those remembered items...and when one can freely think one can connect or associate new ideas to those items to creatively build something that may have never been thought of before.

Can anyone become creative? Can consuming alcohol help? The answer is yes and no.... Some are born creative. Some people may learn to be more creative while others may lack the skill and ability to think outside the box. Alcohol consumption may reduce the stress level of some people so that their creative juices start to flow. Only a little [alcohol] is recommended to find whether it may help you to relax so ideas and other connections to some matter start to flow out.

Is the environment also important to creativity? YES! Your colleagues, friends etc should be positively supporting the flow of ideas...the “but” man is an automatic killer of ideas.... In addition your surroundings should be supportive such as a location that is peaceful, colorful and plenty of space to expand your ideas....

What are tools that could help the creative process? Mind Mapping and Mind Scaping are some of the best idea generators while perhaps hypnosis could do wonders as well. You also need lots and lots of paper, pens, clay and other items which can be made into something if needed.

Yes, creatively sane behavior could be for anyone wishing to add more color in their idea generation....
