These years in Real Madrid and in Madrid may have been the happiest years of my life.

I only have great feelings of gratitude to the club, the fans and the city. I can only thank them all for the love and passion that I have received.

But I think it's time to open a new phase in my life and that's why I asked the club to accept my move, that's my feeling and I ask everyone, especially my Republicans, to understand me.
