How critique is useful?
Wow, what a question. It truly appeals to my writer’s side. You can easily see my writing on my blog - Voice of Pakistan - it will help you understand the following answer.
The following quote is quite good, and helps to answer your question.
“Critique develops the culture of improving work”
But here rises the following question - “How?”
Cindy, we are bound to see our piece of writing from our own perspective. It’s human nature, but as each person belongs to a different background so each person sees your piece of writing with different dimension and they will give you brilliant feedback.
By understanding the main logic behind criticism you can easily remove your flaws and weak points and you can write the best plot ending.
“Assessment always seemed unfocused as a term unless critique zooms in on work”
But it depends upon you whether you want to share the main points or the whole plot with different twists with said group.
In conclusion, accepting constructive criticism is the best way to get help in a very short period of time. But to think logically you should have full control on your nerves… do not lose temper… you should see their criticism with a different and positive outlook and then create a wonderful piece of writing for the readers..
