Huge News For Go-Ahead Users In England!

Go-Ahead the major rail and bus providing across the UK have partnered with blockchain start-up DOVU to introduce tokenized rewards with its rail customers being first in line.

Go-Ahead is listed on the United Kingdoms FTSE 250 which represents the companies ranked from 101st to 250th on the London stock exchange. Go-Ahead has a huge network that provides transport for billions of people a year with it being the largest bus service in London.

Blockchain rewards will be integrated onto the service by DOVU which is a native Ethereum ERC-20 token. The blockchain incentive scheme will offer users rewards for use of service and providing travel data which will first be rolled out over London and the South East.

DOVU has been very active in the blockchain space with previously partnering with car manufacturing giant BMW to offer tokenized rewards to encourages drivers to track mileage on their loaned vehicles.

My thoughts:

This is huge news! Anyone that currently lives in the UK or has visited knows Go-Ahead they are travel providers for most large cities across the country. If the incentives are good this could be a real bonus for the daily users traveling to work and for the Go-Ahead as people will be lining up to provide their travel data.
