I like the recommendation of starting small. Anyone that has enough money can replicate what Neptune does. This buy-up strategy could add some centralization to DASH. Is there a limit to the number of master nodes a company can own?
Thanks Omar, great interviews. I had no idea that people were setting up master node companies, not 100% sure how I feel about the centralisation of the master nodes but I guess time will tell?? LOVE Aion, I know that it is early day for them but their take on the tech is fresh and they do seem to be moving at an impressive rate. I very much look forward to seeing what they can come up with. Not sure if it is simply because they are Canadians but I love their attitude towards their "competitors' they seem to realise that blockchain tech has a long way to grow and cooperation between organisations can be a really good thing. The interviewing machine! Wow this guy is animated. They nabbed the DASH ticker name when they're just a master node company, not going with the Neptune or anything? Wait... so they just float with the price of dash based on their stake and nodes, is this one of the first simple crypto plays available to Canadian equities investors?
Seems like a lot, but at least the RSUs have a long vesting period. The 6 million though... that is a lot out of 26.6 million.
So Aion is at the "buy rights to build bridges and the material for the bridges" and "play around with our autocad for bridge-making" stage right now, kind of late to the game, so late that maybe that can benefit them for their timetable.
Neptune Dash is pretty interesting as a business idea, it's crazy to me that people are starting up these companies where they just run nodes. Awesome to see you on site at a convention!
