Adam Kokesh Makes First Known Crypto Transaction Behind Bars
In what is likely another world first for the former Marine and author, Presidential Candidate Adam Kokesh has made the first crypto currency transaction behind bars.
Adam was arrested within 40 minutes of formally announcing his candidacy for President of the United States on Tuesday. During the traffic stop that eventually lead to his arrest, Adam initiated a crypto transaction using the popular website LocalBitcoins.com which was accepted. However, Adam was not able to confirm the transaction until hours later as he was turning his phone into the jailers.
That transaction was carried out within the next 30 minutes.
Although crypto currencies have been used to bail people out of jail numerous times, this is the first known instance of a transaction actually taking place behind bars.
Adam Kokesh is a strong supporter of crypto currencies and was arrested while he was traveling to attend the North American Bitcoin Conference in Miami, FL.

They didn't, he took it upon himself to be going over the speed limit in a RV with expired plates without proper registration to show ownership or proof of insurance in a state known for trafficking drugs coming out of Mexico. The first cop gave him a ticket and had his vehicle tagged for another stop down the road until he could secure in place back up and drug sniffing dog on a guy who couldn't even prove he owned the vehicle in which he was driving. How much more suspicious can one be?
While I am at it why is it that he claims to have used cypto currency within hours of being arrested to post his bail but has been on here posting pleas for help to raise bail for two days now?....
It seems you can't go against "the tide of freedom" lol. You are right of course. this whole thing comes off as a big publicity stunt.
He's been declaring his candidacy since 2013. This isn't his only drug convictions either. He was busted for having mushrooms in his house after a raid on it after he banished a gun in a public square. I don't think the Libertarians are going to risk the gains they've made national by running someone who will tarnish all that.

I don't think the cops were targeting Adam because he was running for President. They seemed to just be looking for an excuse to search an RV for drugs because they often find large amounts of drugs in RVs. They got a phony dog alert on the vehicle and went fishing. They didn't find a large haul, but they did find enough to ruin his life for awhile and that probably satisfied them because every one of those cops are evilfux.

He must have been using Bitcoin because it took so long to confirm the transaction. Next time use Dash or Bitcoin Cash.
I transferred some Steem from yesterday from Bittrex to my steemit account using blocktrades.us and it took approx. 45 seconds to complete. A few moments latter I tried to transfer some BTC from coinbase.com to my steemit account still through blocktrades.us and it took 29 minutes!

What was the charge (which was probably bogus) for the arrest? And how long did they imprison him for?
He is still in the county jail, cannabis possession along with 2 other unidentified "controlled substances" and interfering with the investigation or something like that. It is bogus. He was filming, they demanded he quit... Why? If everything was on the level, why can't he film? So good to see you back!
