Not Understanding Strategic Reserve

With trumps recent speech and once again talking about building a strategic reserve I think a lot of people are under the impression that the government is going to buy all of this bitcoin.

When in fact so far from what we have seen is that the government simply wont sell any of the bitcoin it has moving forward and any that it accumulates from seizers etc.

Now with that said there is a bill being passed around currently in the house to buy bitcoin and hold it over a 5 year period of time. This buying is actully taking money from the government coffers and buying up bitcoin and it's a rather sizeable chunk they are going after. However it's important to not that this isn't something trump is currently pushing for and instead is just a select few people in the house currently.

What we are seeing however is that trump and his family are positioning themselves to launch multiple businesses and projects in the crypto sector themselves. This really isn't all that bullish for crypto as many of these things already exist.
