A seismic shift in attitude appears to be underway as bankers, who long have dismissed public blockchains, now appear to believe it will gain greater prominence over the next five years.By comparison, 80% believe the same for private blockchains, with half of them thinking blockchain technology will “fundamentally transform” the banking industry, while 91% say blockchain tech will be “either critical or important to their firm’s future.”

Interesting read, and could not agree more with you. If this really happens - holy shit!
You have to consider that when Countries abandon the USDollar they come back to the US Treasury.
If they place it back into circulation it causes inflation like in Venezuela.
Now, if they can hide it somewhere and also create economy - what a better way to place all the apples in ONE basket and crush the ENTIRE system with the push of a button.
Then where will the FEW people left with money go: GOLD/SILVER!!!!
