History when Coinbase launch a new coin

Coinbase is a digital currency exchange platform. It was founded in June 2012 by Brain Amstrong and Fred Ehrsam. They allow the exchange of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin cash. The exchange also provides exchanging feat currency to digital currency or vice versa in around 32 countries and bitcoin transactions worldwide. They have also support Android and IOS application for trading and exchanging crypto.
Coinbase has two core products. A Global Digital Asset Exchange (GDAX) for trading digital Assets and it also offer an API for Developer and merchants to build an application. On March 26 coinbase announced support for the ERC20 token.
Coinbase user is around 15 million. So whenever they announced or listed a new coin to their exchange the price and market value is rapidly increasing. Let's see some coin price after listed on coinbase.


Ethereum:-Ethereum is an open source, blockchain based cryptocurrency. It was found by Vitalik Buterin in 2013. It supports virtual machine and it uses GAS to transfer one block to another. It is the most popular digital currency after bitcoin. 80 percent of ICO are given Ethereum based token.
On July 21, 2016, Coinbase support for Ethereum. They have started trading ETH, buy and selling with Feat Currency

In the graph, the yellow line shows the change in the price of ETH after launching on Coinbase. At the start, the price is around $11.25 and within 1 day the price reaches $15, It spikes almost 38% in a day.

Lite Coin:- Lite Coin is the lite version of Bitcoin. It is peer to peer cryptocurrency and open source software project. Charlie Lee, a Google employee is the founder of Litecoin on October 7, 2011. It uses proof of work algorithm. Litecoin process a block in every 2.5 Minute where Bitcoin process a block in every 10 Minute.
On May 3, 2017 coinbase announced to listed Litecoin on their Exchange platform. Including trading, buy, sell and store in web and mobile application. It reaches $1 billion market cap after the announcement.

Litecoin price is around $17.225 on 2 May 2016. It reaches up to $26.3 in one day. It spikes almost 46% after the announcement. The price is also double around $34.2 in just 3 days.


Bitcoin Cash:-Day to day increase transaction fees of Bitcoin. Some community member of bitcoin creates a hard fork for increasing the block size. After the hard fork on 1 August, 2017 Bitcoin cash is created. After that it popular as a cryptocurrency and a payment method.
On December 20, 2017, Coinbase start listed Bitcoin Cash. It offers to trade, Buy, sell, hold and exchange the Bitcoin Cash

The price of the BCH is around $2000 and it rises above $4000 in 2 days. So it is almost double. Thought it is the bull market at that time.

Announcement
Coinbase announced to support Ethereum Classic on June 12, 2018, and it will be listed soon. It is a good option to buy and hold ETC.
