There are many ways to make a passive income in crypto without doing much, please forget the scams of bitconnect etc, when things are to good to be true they are not.
1: Mining.
U can start mining with Ur own hardware but that is a big investment to get the right compatible hardware, but if u want to do the investment look up first what u gonna buy, read reviews, watch review vids etc. Some miners have a higher Power-consumption than profit u dont want that, so u have a other option called cloud mining, but also in this scene there are a lot of scam sites so DYOR before invest in one. If u don't have the possibility to get Ur device 24/7 online u have also in this scene cloud solutions they also ask a small fee over Ur dividend mostly a few % to host.

3: Running nodes/masternodes.
Running nodes is a little bit the same like staking, u put a amount of coins online and take dividend over it, but with nodes u have to get a specifically amount of coins to do it, the way it work when u run a node is that u receive a amount of mining profit of the mining pool where Ur node is host. In some cases this can be a huge profit but the contrary is a masternode mostly is a big investment. The ROI (return of investment) against it can be sometimes more than 500% in a year.
