Why they are all in involved the Blockchain?
I like bitcoin, litecoin and other cryptocurrencies and searching for how many big boys want to involve in and Bitcoin ben said Nasdaq will launch cryptocurrencies. so follow the Nasdaq on the twitter.
One day Nasdaq posted a tweet about Distributed ledger technology-CIO PRIORITIES IN CAPITAL MARKETS INFRASTRUCTURE*Report.
Distributed ledger technology promises to be transformative, especially in posttrade
market infrastructure, and almost all players are involved in DLT development
projects through partnerships, joint ventures, and industry consortia. A few leading
players are at advanced stages of developing D solutions in core MI functions, but its
adoption may be delayed due to regulators’ conservative attitude toward market
infrastructure. Numerous use cases of DLT are emerging in peripheral functions.
Because it is still a new and complex technology, not every MI is able to experiment with
it individually, but 70% of MIs in our sample are involved in accelerators, pilots, or
industry consortia. (MI=Market Infrastructure, DLT=Distributed ledger technology)
