This Crypto Crash
When you start to follow the 99% majority, keep in mind the 1% are either quiet or the ones yelling fire and pointing towards the exit.
Hint, there is no fire, and they plan on locking the door after you leave.
I have always had my biggest wins when I go against the wind, where everyone else isn't going. Always keep in mind most lose money and quit before their opportunity comes.
Luck favors the prepared and the bold.
It's never easy, and if it was, you were on the wrong track to begin with. On the other side of easy is a pit, filled with people who want to get rich but don't want to put in the work. Getting rich isn't all about hard work, sometimes it's about having the right mindset at the right time.
If you enjoy the process, this crash should intrigue you. Of course we all want the market to not go down, but you don't always get what you want. It isn't important what happens to you, we can't control that; what matters is how you handle yourself during the storm.

Brother, I just recently followed you because I think that, what you have to share are pretty much the same with what I’ve been shouting for months now. I don’t really consider myself to be a big investor...in fact I thought I entered the world of crypto too late. It was mid January specifically when I joined this platform and since you seem far more experienced than me, you remember well where were the prices at that time and how was everyone feeling.
But this continually bearish market (almost 7 full months now) made me think that: Hey, maybe I am not so late after all
I keep buing and stacking and if there is something that can change my life financially it has to be cryptos. I just think that the average person doesn’t have the knowledge and isn’t prepared for it...yet.
I keep trying to motivate people to stick around this platform / make their research upon this new world. Crypto world. But most are in a denial.
Long story short, I think that cryptos are just like the Internet
Only 1/100000 was privileged enough to use it when it came out. But now it is everywhere.
Can anyone stop the Internet??

I have been saying the same since I learned my lesson many times in my past. I found out the hard way. I hope I learned well enough. Just like everyone else, I feel the pain this bear market causes. However, even though there is this pain, there are worries, I keep buying. Just few days ago I added to my portfolio. If we go lower, I will add even more. More pain means better prices. But I have a suspicion you already know that.
I really agree with what you said about locking the door behind...love the analogy. I don't even consider myself a vet of Crypto, but I know to try to stay as a 1% that is quiet, knowing that we are all in for a ride. Even when the markets are down, it is hard to keep in my excitement for crypto (ESPECIALLY Steem :) )
If the basic premise behind crypto is that it's the future of currency than I should have no worries about the current situation.
That's what I think of during this slump and logic dictates that cryptos including Steem will be just fine in the long run.

NLC2 I got for 10 satoshi, it peaked over 10k satoshi.
EOS I got at .50 cents.
PPT I got a .70 cents.

I got the VIBE ICO, dumped about half at $2, sent the other half I planned to sell to HITBTC to a VIB address by accident. Finally got it back about a month ago...

never caught a bottom of anything, i could be dishearten or i could be delighted to be part of this journey
like i tell my friends, just because i say when i'm buying, it doesn't mean you have to buy and it probably (as far as i'm concern 100% true so far) mean you can buy at a better price than me, but because i know i cannot predict the future, even if I get like 10,20, even 30% from the bottom, i feel delighted and grateful to be able to be part of the journey

Instead of this slow bleed out, BTC just need to drop down into the 4-5k range. At those prices, speculators money will come in from every directions, around the world & build sustainable momentum for the Bulls to take control again. Happy Trading/Investing/Stacking!!!...
