Now You Can Stake with Presearch

Presearch

Primarily I use the Brave browser because they offer better protection of your data and they have a great rewards program. 95% of my web interaction takes place on the Brave browser but every now and then I jump on Preseach if I want to do a search with different search engines. It is ideal for these types of searches and you can set it up any which way you'd like and earn PRE tokens while your at it.

Customize Your Settings

One of the nicest features about the Presearch browser is setting up your preferred search engines. In the top right corner where your account shows you can go to My Account and then go to Homepage Providers as seen in the below image.

On the Homepage Providers tab you will have the option of different providers as seen in the image below. You can drag the provider you want to your profile and it will appear below your search bar as seen in the first image of this post.

Check Your Reward Level

You will receive 0.25 PRE for every search that you do using the Presearch browser. Please take note that abuse of the search engine to generate coins will not work in your favor. The reward system has recently been updated to prevent abuse (refer to this article). Essentially what it means is that you are scored on whether you are trying to game the browser or not. You will fall into different levels depending on your behavior and that will dictate the amount of PRE you can withdraw. The levels are as seen in the below table. Please note that you have to accumulate a minimum amount of PRE before you can withdraw.

You can also set your default browser settings to your liking to open your searches in a new tab as seen in the below image.

Staking PRE

Most recently Presearch has brought out staking of key words which allows you to stake PRE tokens against key words. This will allow your ad to be shown in the Presearch browser if you get a hit. The ad that will be shown will be designed by yourself and only requires a URL. In order to stake you navigate to the Buy Keyword Ad as seen in the below image.

Once you are at the Staking Dashboard you can do a keyword search to see what keywords are available, how many stakes are linked to those keywords and how much PRE is staked to it. For an example I have searched the key word "crypto basics" as seen in the below image.

If you do a keyword search for Bitcoin, as an example, you get the results show in the image below. I have attempted to be the only staker on a keyword hence not going for something obvious. This also means I'll have a harder time getting a hit because people don't search for it as often.

Once you have decided on your keyword you can click on Stake This and you'll be redirected to edit your ad as seen in the below image. Include your ad headline, description and URL and hit next. After clicking on next you'll be shown a preview of how your ad will appear in the search engine if the correct search is executed. At the moment it is free and you will not be charged any fee (in US$ or PRE) to stake keywords. Also note that I have been using Presearch since 2018 and I have been rewarded with more than 1000 PRE that enabled me to withdraw to do the staking. If you start now you will most likely have to buy some PRE to be able to stake (minimum PRE amount to stake is 1000).

For a better, visual, explanation of the above steps refer to Presearch video on YouTube.

PRE Coin Analysis

PRE coins have been available on the market since the beginning of 2018 (more or less) and the coin started out at a decent price of US$0.14. Just after the 2017 bull run PRE peaked at US$0.80 and had a massive dump of close to 99.8% where it settled at US$0.002. The coin did not perform well at all during the bear marked but has recently shown promise when it touched on $0.04, up 2,000% from its bottom. The team is constantly working on bettering the Presearch browser and the project has a lot of potential. Their launch of staking keywords shows that the team is constantly working on taking the project forward even though it is faced with tough competition like the Brave browser that's taken the market with a storm.

If we look at the coins' circulation supply, which is normally the 1st place I look to see if a team is messing about, it really does not look bad (refer to below image). The circulation supply of PRE has been approximately 150 million since the beginning of 2018.

It is surprising to see that the circulation supply is staying constant because users receive coins as they use the browser and you would expect to see a slight increase as time passes.

Scanning through the white paper (as seen below) you can see the planned coin distribution as well as, in some other section of the paper, the workings of the system. Perhaps all coins meant to be an incentive for early users are already in circulation and only being distributed. They might also have deviated from their planned token distribution because according to the above graph there is 150 million coins in circulation and according to their white paper the Pre-sale and Early Adopter sales ended in 2017 and is a total of 250 million coins. This does not add up.

Presearch Rewards Program

If you invite friends to join and they use the Presearch browser you can be rewarded 25 coins (if they meet the criteria). You can also earn your first 25 coins by registering and using Presearch if you follow my referral link. Alternatively just go to their website and register to start earning PRE.
