Japanese Bitflyer Exchange Opened Its European Branch

in #crypto7 years ago

According to a news by Coindesk Bitflyer, a Japan crypto exchange ranked the 6ht in the world on Coinmarketcap, received a Payment Insititution license, which allowed them to open their first European exchange. The license was issued in Luxembourg, where the exchange will also operate.

It's worth noting that Bitflyer also opened a subsidiary in US just a couple of months ago, claiming now to be "the only cryptocurrency exchange regulated in Japan, US and EU".

For starters, the exchange will list only BTC/EUR, but it does have plans to include Ethereum, Ethereum Classic and Litecoin later on. As an incentive, until the end of February there will be zero transaction fees.
