How to get started with Crypto

You'll need to download www.Exodus.io and sign up for a couple of websites and apps. This way you own your keys, which means that if one of your coins forks you will receive the coins and not Coinbase or some other online wallet.

Once you download the wallet go into settings and back up your wallet. It will give your 12-word seed phrase.

Go to the dashboard and click on the coin you want to send to your wallet than on receive which is on the right side. and copy the receiving address.

The wallet lets you exchange certain coins. This way you will be able to move your coins over to a stable coin like DAI or USDC when necessary.

For added security, you can purchase a Trezor hard wallet and connect it to your exodus. It is a desktop wallet in which you exchange certain coins
