My opinion about crypto innovations
Hello steem community
I think you all know what crypto currencies are. Bitcoin was the first crypto currency in the world and Bitcoin has introduced the revolutionary blockchain technology.
The goal of Bitcoin was to make a decentralized currency that can not be contolled from the government and to make a currency which do not need hig fees.
Bitcoin was booming and other people wanted to make something like Bitcoin to get a piece of the attention. Many of them wanted to create something that is better than Bitcoin. They found out the technology had a lot of potential. An example is Ethereum with the decentralized Apps called dapps.
Another example ist IOTA for a decentralized network for the internet of things.
Steem is also one of them. There are so many different crypto innovations in the internet and here is my opinion about them:
I am fascinated by so many crypto currencies. I think Bitcoin lost a long time ago. Other innovations are better and espacially steem. In my opinion crypto currencies will be the main currency of the future
because it is safer, quicker and cheaper. We just have to give the crypto currencies a stable value and we have to get people interested into crypto currencies.
What is your opinion about that topic? It would be nice if you could write a comment about your opinion. If you have some tips for me how I could steem better then I would be grateful if you write me your tips.

I don't think Bitcoin has lost in the cryptocurrency world. It might not be the fastest currency, but in the technology space, a recognizable name means as much as being technologically superior. While I'm sure a lot of crypto innovations will succeed, there will always be people in the crypto space who remain sceptical and will stick to bitcoin, or at least include it in a diversified portfolio. Furthermore, not everything is better with blockchain. In many cases, the security added by blockchain does not justify the increased inefficiency and more increased difficulty of editing and deleting information.

Thank you for your opinion. You are right. Bitcoin was the first crypto currency so it has a big advantage but if we will pay in the future with crypto currencies then I think Bitcoin is the worst currency. Bitcoin could not verify all the transactions in short time and the proof of work costs too much. But that is just my opinion. Thank you for your opinion :)

I think cryptocurrencies will coexist with normal currencies (they kind of already do), but it's hard to tell. If bitcoin was to be used effectively in the future, I guess transactions would have to happen off chain, as if you have your cryptocurrencies in a bank, similar to how coinbase users can theoretically send bitcoin fee-less to each because the bitcoin doesn't actually have to change wallet. The whole trustlessness point of cryptocurrencies will kind of disappear, though, but maybe that's what it takes.

thank you for your comment. I am from Germany so it would not be surprising if I make mistakes but I think „then“ is right. I really meant then and not than. Maybe you did not understand my sentence? Or is that a big mistake on my part?
