Since the refund program commenced in January 2023, it has been an amazing journey and this refund program provides a chance for the HyperVerse team to put behind a truly ugly incident so that we could move on to whatever the future holds. All through the process, the HyperVerse community has been understanding and helpful, we are happy to be given the opportunity to serve this amazing community.

From the beginning of the refund program, we have carefully been collecting user feedback both from our support channels and even from the customer feedback form we released some months back to enable HyperVerse community members to suggest ways that the refund program can be improved. Your replies and suggestions has directly contributed towards some of the major upgrades we have done in the refund platform and this includes the “Proof Of Payment” upload feature and most notably, the community appeal for the extension of the refund program.

WHY WE SHUT DOWN THE MAIN PLATFORM

The refund program has been an astounding success so far, the numbers has grown steadily and organically over the course of 10 months that the refund program has been open but we have noticed a trend that has become more frequent in recent times and below are the reasons why we made the difficult decision to sunset the main HyperVerse platform:

EXPECTATIONS: Users tend to request for withdrawals in the old platform rather than in the refund portal despite the platform being inactive for over a year, we realize that keeping multiple platforms or portals active might cause confusion to many members and for whose who are hoping that the main platform would be reactivated and has not claimed their refund, we had to make the tough decision to sunset the main platform so that all effort could be focused on the refund platform and the refund program can be successfully completed in due time.

RESOURCES: It takes a tremendous amount of resources to keep the platform afloat despite the fact that official platform has seized operation, we have been cutting cost lately to ensure that our spendings and operating costs would be covered within our limited budget and the main platform was a financial black hole that wasn’t doing the community any Favours, we had to sunset the platform.

We aim to complete the refund program by the end of the year and every action we take is geared towards that goal so that this unfortunate circumstance can be put behind us. Thanks for your support and understanding so far.
