Roger Ver: "The future is brighter than ever"
The bear market hasn't dampened the spirits of everyone.
Roger Ver took a break from his bitcoin cash war (and bitcoin bashing) and talked a little about his thoughts on the cryptocurrency market as a whole.
His thoughts were pretty interesting, especially as the overall crypto market cap is over 80% off its high and on a day when bitcoin (and many of the alts) are drifting back down towards there 18 month lows.
Never the less, during an interview in Tokyo, Ver said that there is now a better case than ever before to own cryptocurrency.
Specifically:
"Long term, the future’s brighter than ever; there’s more awareness, there’s more adoption, there’s more stuff happening all over the world."

Ver makes a very good point.
Yes the bear market has been rough, but things aren't as bad when we zoom out a bit...
More people own cryptocurrency then ever before. There is greater adoption than ever before. The infrastructure is better than ever before. There is greater press coverage than ever before. There is more money in crypto than ever before... and those are just some of the ones off the top of my head.
Lot of encouraging things.
Ver concluded his thoughts with this:

Makes sense to me. Bear Markets don't define the strength of a particular Company. Keep that in mind.
Especially this one. Everything has sold off similar amounts. Baby out with the bath water kind of thing.
Well, I'm not a big fan of Roger but it's nice to see that he talks about the whole market. and of course, he is right.
When we look back some years, things have changed a lot and there is happening so much for the better.
so get the coins now, with all the bear discount and look in the future.
I am excited about all the different exchanges popping up. Especially the ones that are fully regulated and have very low fees. :)
It actually makes sense to be positive at this point as the technology continues to be promising and prices are so low so more people can have access to getting in.
Correct. If you have dry powder and are watching, things are looking better and better. For those already in, not so much.
Definitely the way I'm looking at the whole market now. Words are spreading(good or bad) about crypto and there is absolutely no such thing as bad publicity(probably too much is bad). More infrastructure is getting set up around the world(and this is definitely a good thing). The whole bearish situation is due to manipulation and emotion IMO. Working hard to create some crypto-independent source of income to support my buying power.
Probably true, though I would bet most of that big up-move was due to manipulation as well. It goes in both directions.
