Dogecoins are just a fork of bitcoin. They don't bring something new, besides hyperinflation. As I know many new coins are generated and I'm surprised the price didn't go down.

Initially dogecoin was not regarded as a coin(not even by their creators) but a way to send tips more in the sense of reputation than money. This is why it has a hyperinflation.

I personally see Reddcoin as a better option compared to dogecoin. They both intend to solve similar problems but Reddcoin seems more active even if it's not so popular. It went from PoW to PoS and they have a nice community and an active team.

Hmm I knew only about bitcoin.
