Banning crypto CFDs would be very positive in my view. At the moment they are purely speculation on the speculation, no value at all to the ecosystem!!!
That is a really interesting episode. Good news! Halal Coins. Great. Wonder which coins they will feature.
One of the main reasons I am still optimistic about the market is the fact that volumes are so underreported due to many OTC markets in addition to those you mentioned as well. The demand for many crypto assets has increased substantially and a more increasing portion should be falling into the hands of longer term investors or users of it which would ultimately take up a lot of the supply to fill the current imbalance we see due to slower adoption. This should ultimately stabilize market prices.
Finally a ban I’m onboard with if been saying this since BTC and ETH futures were released we lost major liquidity especially from institutional investors who would now prefer to trade these derivatives! Getting rid of them would be great as they really go against what crypto is trying to achieve as a whole!
Also the FICE exchange sounds like a good idea and I’m pretty sure it will bring a lot of middle eastern money into crypto I just don’t see it being as big as they think it would be if they could get more than 1% of that 1.8bn id be very surprised! These regions are very conservative when it comes to money and investing and also the whole making money that isn’t money the worked for us murky waters for Muslims from what I’ve been told so I’m not really convinced on the platform will drive major numbers

So GB citizens can not use those derivatives instruments on global platforms like eToro? Would you favor more niche exchanges? 1 exchange with all evil coins and tokens? and adding another article against the decline and fall of the ROME empire it little too much sweet for the "Crescent" supporters IMHO, anyway the Occident will face first domination from Orient superpower like the PRC before any other economic domination based on religious beliefs or anarchists ...

Interesting news today. That second story (the Islamic exchange) sounds good to me. I will watch that video. I dunno, I've been hearing that comparison (the US to the Roman Empire) all my life, so that is nothing new, but I will go check out his video on it.
