Earlier on Friday, Coincheck established the trade in Crypto coins to ensure safety and the belongings of users. The action caused a dip among all the major cryptocurrencies. How they stole the 500 million NEM coins is still unknown.
The blockade can no longer be tiled and can no longer be read via the platform in NEM coins, one of the largest digital coins.
NEM is according to coinmarketcap the number 9 crypto coin in the world took a big loss after the news came out . Other cryptocurrencies from the top ten, including the bitcoin, fell 5 to 10 percent however this is not directly linked to the NEM theft.

This sucks for those affected. I have gotta say however.... PLEASE PEOPLE, don't keep your cryptos in your exchange wallet(s). Keep the bulk of it in paper storage, hardware storage, or on a device that is not connected to the internet unless you are trading or exchanging.... only send it to the exchange when you need to exchange or move it. If you don't have your coins on total lockdown on a hardware device or disconnected from the internet, and if you don't have control of your private keys (i.e when they are in an exchange where you don;t control the private keys!), then you don't really own them and when crap like this happens and the exchange gets hacked... well, it is terrible, but you are SOL unfortunately. This keeps happening... exchanges get hacked and exploited.. It is going to happen again. Protect yourself and your finances! ~~ Peace and love, just my 2 cents. Thanks for sharing this, @myek . I was considering posting about it myself to vent a little but I found your post first..... hope you don't mind me venting on here..... it just crives me crazy and it is sad that so many people lost so much money in this hack.
You are right @mamatalks never leave your crypto on a exchange! Tx for the reaction.
