Robinhood: Trade Stocks, Trade Crypto, Trade BOTH!

My name has finally been pulled out of the hat! My number's been called. I made it to the front of the virtual line.

Robinhood is a popular mobile app for buying and selling stock. They recently embraced crypto and slowly started to roll out Bitcoin and Ethereum trading to existing users.

The app has a pretty cool interface, so I was looking forward to seeing how the transactions were conducted.

Here's a peak at the overall experience...

The first thing that greeted me was their sales pitch. An enticing series of benefits to distract me from the fact that I won't have access to the private keys. Who hasn't used Coinbase though, right?

The standard graphs and values are provided. However, they definitely look way cooler here than any other app I've seen!

Alright, let's start the engine and take it around the block. I've got...uh...20 bucks? Hey, don't judge me. 20 bucks can buy almost 4 of those Cravings deal boxes from Taco Bell. This is a huge sacrifice for me. Have you tried their new seasoned Nacho Fries?

Well, that was cool. I even got confetti. It's like a party. I feel special.

Welp, if you don't mind not having any wallet functionality, it's a cool new way to easily buy some crypto for investment purposes. And it's a slick and enjoyable interface.
