MetaMask for Mobile: Dapps Everywhere!
MetaMask is the most popular and easiest way to interact with Ethereum Dapps. It’s been around for years, and it has tons and tons of features. It may have actually singlehandedly made Ethereum popular, as without it, it would be much harder to interact with Dapps.
However, it’s never been made for mobile devices, and alternatives like Status required you run a full node on your device. Recently, there have been better alternatives, but MetaMask itself has never been made for mobile.
However, very recently, MetaMask released its app for Android and iOS. That’s right, you can just search “MetaMask” in your app store and download it right now!
Here’s what MetaMask says about their app:
Whether you are an experienced user or brand new to blockchain, MetaMask helps you connect to the decentralized web: a new internet.
We're trusted by millions of people across the world, and our mission is to make this new decentralized web accessible to all.
The MetaMask app is both a wallet & a browser. Buy, send, spend & exchange your digital assets. Make payments to anyone, anywhere. Log into websites securely to trade assets, lend, borrow, play games, publish content, buy rare digital art, and so much more.
