# Krebsiscancer|| German imageboard Donates more than 100.000$ to cancer aid

Due to an article about coinhive by Brian Krebs, a german imageboard started donating more than 100.000$ in over 5000 Donations to different German cancer aid funds.

That's what happened: The American Brian Krebs angered hundreds of users with a report on the German platform pr0gramm.com. The website is an image board where you can upload and comment on images. According to Krebs, platform founder Dominic Szablewski was involved in the development of the Coinhive software. In his report he published name and residence of operators of the imageboard.

The users first made their dislike clear with pictures and memes in which krebs was scolded and insulted. A user finally reversed the campaign: He posted a screenshot of a donation receipt for 25 euros to Cancer Aid with the title "Krebs is cancer"(Krebs is the german word for cancer). Hundreds followed and donated double-digit sums. The imageboard is paved with screenshots of donation receipts. This lead to the temporary collapse of the dontaion Website.
