@zanky, the moral of this as you say is dont keep funds in exchanges.
I'm breaking my own rules as I have temporary funds in Binance and Cryptopia but this wont be for too long, I intend to move them out sharpish. If you're gonna do it, make sure its on a temporary basis and get a Ledger.
Ofcourse, if you are a day trader then keep some amount of money in excahnge and rest in a harware or paper wallet.
If you don't trade much and in for a long term then keep the whole amount in wallet like ledger.
For me I have not invested much for the time time being, so I have kept in exchanges only and playing around with them. When I earn enough profit I will switch to harware wallet.
