RE: Will It Happen? The Death Of Shitcoins?

in #crypto5 years ago (edited)

I've stopped playing the Altcoin game a long time ago. Mostly because what I see is that the largest part of them are discarded and forgotten after 6 months or a year, no matter how the project evolved. The ones that are currently hot are the new coins, even if there's no project at all.

So we have a lot of running projects trading at near zero, while the Top 100 is filled with coins pumping, despite having no project or future.

In sum, this market is full of people who are short term gamblers, not long term investors.

Sort:

Well, I'm a VeChain investor and they keep delivering day in day out new functions, new use cases, new partnerships with many more companies in the pipeline. It's all a matter of choosing a good coin! Celsius is another that has been delivering, in a few weeks they will introduce fiat onramp which will increase their adoption. So, not all projects are forgotten, there are many still delivering and will deliver with a giant active community.

There are a few exceptions, of course. Hence what I said: "the largest part of them"
