BandZ: The Evolution of the Internet

Throughout the history of humanity, technological transformations have modified the life of societies, the Internet is a social phenomenon of great importance as important as the inventions of the industrial revolution in the eighteenth century and its direct influence on the evolution of work and human activity. The interconnection of people through devices (computers, televisions, tablets and cell phones) is one of the most significant technological advances of the modern era, as it makes the Internet one of the most effective means of informing, disseminating and showing projects, brands or services and has also transformed the processes of buying and selling in the commercial system.

Having access to the Internet at a decent speed has become a necessity for any person and mainly a business. In fact, the European Union has set itself the target that by 2020 all European citizens should enjoy broadband coverage of more than 30 Mbps. However, this speed only reaches 71.2% of households.

Beyond the problems of access, which are greater in other regions of the world in Latin America, only 51% of the population is connected and some are already asking whether the right to the Internet should not be included in the Constitution, the greatest difficulty we encounter when contracting a connection is price and accessibility.
