A Floating Light House

Hello Steemians!! Today i want to share my 3d artwork based on low poly art, i create called "Floating Lighthouse". Inspired by The Lightkeepers movie its about A grumpy sailor (Richard Dreyfuss) and a young stranger (Tom Wisdom) change their negative opinions about women when two move nearby. I model the 3d environment in Maya and finish it in Photoshop. Here are the process..

Step 01 - Modeling an environment

I create a simple lighthouse environment on an isolated island. A small boat jetty and a trail toward the lighthouse. A couple of cloud and small tree. A nice and quite place.

Step 02 - Separate the rendering into different passes

Here i set it with separate layer so its easy for me to enhance the look later. 1st layer is the sea. As you can see the sea have a reflection and water ripple on it.

Step 03 - Rendering the land

Here i just colour the land a simple blocking green tone and the rock at the end of the road.

Step 04 - Rendering the lighthouse

The light house rendering i make the tower have a colour bleed from the light casing out to the shore.

Step 05 - Ambient Occlusion

To make sure the detail not left behind I rendering Ambient Occlusion. The modeling are more standing out. Except the tower i don't want it to be wash out, a simple plain white colour.

Step 06- Rendering the cloud

I wanted to make a simple low poly cloud near by the lighthouse.

Step 07 - Adding Detail

I make the background blue turquoise in gradient. And put a light beam at the lighthouse.

Step 08 - Shadow

In this process i render out a simple shadow. It create a floating effect from the ground. I put bitcoin on the top of the lighthouse.
