Avoiding Coinbase fees!?!
If you buy Crypto thru Coinbase ( like me ) and hate ridiculously high fees keep on reading
Lets say you have some 500 USD at your Coinbase account and want to buy BTC
that fee is no joke, imagine you wanna drop 1k
thats someone's hourly wage lol, obviously thats how Coinbase make money ( millions)
what you wanna do
Is go to this we site ===> https://www.gdax.com/trade/BTC-USD
that is pretty much Coinbase as they share the same back end exchange, you are buying literary the same crypto
Now once over there, login with your Coinbase account go over to deposit, and deposit USD from Coinbase to GDAX account, It is similar and easy as moving money from checking to savings account
Once you got money transfered you can go ahead and buy BTC with your funds and
fee will drop to 0.3%, better than 1.49% they charge over at Coinbase ,
Now if you want 0% fee and you are willing to go extra step all you need to do is
instead doing market order go to limit order and manually put in the price of BTC, choose the price closes to the SPREAD as that is closest to the market order and your order is going to get in because of volatility in a matter of seconds,
And you just got more BTC for the exact same money you were gonna spend over at Coinbase :), 500$ or 50 000% still no fees and who doesn't like no fees
If you like the post upvote or don't lol and enjoy extra money,
take care and keep0n.steemin
Good tip. I was using BTC-e and loved them. Luckily, I withdrew all my funds a couple of weeks before the raid by Team-Amerika.
I made money on Kraken a few years ago on an overnight spike. They unwound the trades the next day saying it was a system glitch so I abandoned them.
Poloniex has crap customer service. Next I'm looking at Bitshares since it's a decentralised exchange. Anyone have any experience?
Bitquence, in your earlier post, looks interesting for the future.
Definitely will try this next time I get any new tokens, good find buddy.
Thanks on this :)
