Equifax Hack Effects 143 Million Users Showing The Need For A Better Solution... Is This Where Decentralized ID Verification Such As Civic (CVC) Come Into Play?
As many of you are already aware, a few days ago the credit reporting firm Equifax announced that they had undergone a massive data breach which could effect up to 143 million people in North America, showing massive flaws in the current security practices enacted by companies which hold your highly sensitive personal data (including your name, address, social security number and more...).
