Does decentralized Storage make sense?
Hello,
at first a short introduction to myself:
I m David from Berlin, and in the middle 30'ies. I know some Programming Languages, actually working for an administration and trying to study Informatics meanwhile. Sorry that i cant say more at this time. I came here, because i like the Open-Source-Thing and wanted to explore "utopian.io", yes and maybe see, if there is a place for me here in this world.
As much as i appreciate this kind of revolution, i want to start with a question to the community:
How much does this "Decentralezid-Storage-Thing" make sense, when there are regularities, to make the internet only fast for the big players on the market?
As far as i know the EU decided something like this last year, so that internet providers are allowed to take extra money for the hiqhspeed part of the internet.
So how has the value of things like "IPFS" - Filecoin, "Storj" and "Siacoin" to be seen? Is it just a big bubble to fool people or am i missing something critical?
