Does that mean we have to claim it in any way? I never had an airdrop on Steemit.
Yeah somewhat confused as to whether you need to hold steem in a wallet, or if you can get it for having powered up your steem as well
As to whether you have to have Steem vs Steem Power vs. SBD, I'm not sure how that is going to work. The white paper is unclear.. No specifics on how to claim the tokens either.
I am hoping that say.
Example. If I had 10 SBD , 100 SP and 10 Steem, that they can calculate a total value of what the equivalent SBD in my wallet would be at the snapshot of 185,000 (If that is what they are using as a base measurement to divide and distribute Vice tokens)

You have cited the whitepaper correctly. This means in my opinion that this is an airdrop for the steem creators or it is a typo in the Whitepaper. We have already passed block nr 185,000 as you can see on https://steemd.com/ so the snapshot has already taken place. Either in early 2016 for founders only or early 2018 if indeed there is a typo in the whitepaper.

I could be completely butchering the real idea of the whitepaper, so don't quote me on this.
But from my interpretation the token rewards are very similar to how Steemit works. Tokens will be awarded to viewers, content creators and curators. Page 3-7 explains their vision more in detail, but that's the gist of it.
