If you are involved in the Cryptocurrency Market, you basically know that the market has been in a Downtrend since last Week. There were several reasons for this Downtrend.
1. Correction Overdue
So around December 2017 the whole Cryptocurrency Market saw a huge Bull run which led to Bitcoin being around 20k USD and the Altcoins followed in Bitcoins steps.
Almost all Cryptos were Double if not Triple their values.
We all knew that a Correction always comes after such a run but we did not expect it to coincide with some other News which led to a bit of FUD around the Community.
2. South Korea FUD
South Korea has been a major player when it comes to Cryptocurrency Markets. We have seen the Sout Korean community single-handedly driving the prices Up for some Coins. So when there were rumours about South Korea banning Crypto Exchanges, people started panicking.
3. Negative Media Exposure
There was a lot of Negativity in the Media about Cryptocurrencies. They were portraying Cryptos as bad but at the same time promoting them at the same time on a different Day.
But as usual, People remember only the Negative stuff and it spread further FUD.
Recovering Phase is Activated
So at the Time I am writing this post not a single Cryptocurrency is in Red which is showing clear signs of recovery. Now it will take a week or so to recover all the value it had at their peak but slowly but surely it will reach new Heights.
I said it guys if you believe in the Coin you are Holding then stick with it even if you have to go through a Storm like the one we witnessed.
Personal Experience
So my personal experience in this Bloodbath was kind of Scary as well as Nice.
I watched my entire Portfolio go down by 63%.
Yes, you saw that right. It was downright scary but when I saw signs of recovery I bought some Cardano and District0x tokens to get in on some Profits.

These green numbers aren't influencing my sleeping habit.
The amount that was lost wouldn't just recover overnight. It will take some time.
We will continue to see more uptrends. My steemit account also saw a huge hit. Time to buy, 2018 will be an exciting year while we see more accounts getting created and money pump in.
I truly believe 2018 is going to be the Year of Crypto regulations.
Many governments will try to tax crypto so as to profit from them.
And personally, I don't mind taxation if they declare Bitcoin Legal tender.

Yes Silver and Gold are useful in this kind of situations.
I hold a bit of Silver but I don't like Gold.
It's just not my type.

It's great to see the markets back on a retracement. I did a post about this last night, when I spotted that the markets were beginning to retrace!
I saw it last night recovering but I wanted to wait a bit as there was a possibility of it going down too.
