🤓 Quick Crypto Tip 👍
BUT HOW DO I KEEP TRACK?!
Don't worry we all have to start somewhere 👍
If you're like me and started on Coinbase, you probably also may have made the mistake of not keeping track of each of the transactions you've made so far on the blockchain. Lucky for us procrastinators, the blockchain is something that keeps track of itself. Most exchanges will show all the information you need in your orders history.😉
If you're really lucky, the exchange will even include a direct link to the transaction on the blockchain. If you're an unlucky soul without a link, a simple Google search with either of the following numbers following by blockchain transaction will pull up what you want. The numbers you're looking for will be under the exchanges account order history and will show the identification number or transaction ID.
Now to build your portfolio you really don't need all of that information, but if you're ever waiting on a transaction to clear that's what you need! First thing when building a Portfolio is either a desktop program, or a phone app. For any examples in this post I'll be referring to the Delta Portfolio App for IOS and Android. One of the best parts of this APP is if it's an active coin in circulation it's on the list in here. There is a free and pro version, but the free version comes with everything you could need. Pro version really just allows the addition of multiple portfolio accounts. 👍
If you are sure to add each transaction to this APP you won't have any problem keeping track when it comes time to report for taxes.
If you'd like some more information on this APP, or about cryptos in general just let me know. I love discussing all of this and am happy to help as best I can! Weekend posts will include California beauty, and some delicious food porn. 😋
