Buy the Holiday drop! Why Cryptos crash on Holidays

FACT for today:

It is very common for cryptos to crash around the holidays. Especially three day weekends. For a while, there was a thing called "The weekend dip". The price of Bitcoin dropped on the weekends. It was obvious.

Unfortunately for the savvy investor, all markets self-correc![cocaine.jpg]t, so this is not a guarantee anymore, but many of the dark coins are still doing this.

WHY???

Because people SPEND their coins on weekends. They buy drugs and all the other underground goodies. This does not account for all transactions, but if it even is 10% of them, it will have a serious impact on the market.

If you are running on a bender and need weed/cocaine, a midget hooker - you name it, you are not going to care that your coins value is down. It's the only currency these places accept.

Last year, right about midnight on New Years Eve, bitcoin jumped up for about an hour. This is likely because people were hiding money for their taxes!

This year, New Years falls on a Monday, so it is hard to say, because the drugs probaby offset the money laundering.

Nonetheless, when advisors create charts on coins, it is common for them to consider U.S. Holidays.

After all, the crypto movement was started in San Francisco, with a bunch of college age kids partying their brains out on the Silk Road (a dark web drug market)
