Since 2013 I am following crypto-currencies and the co-related environment. The first time I take a read about bitcoin whitepaper, I was really impressed. There is a strong difference between "virtual cash" like liberty-reserve or egold and bitcoin. An enormous difference, despite the similar field of activity.

A lot of people have already listen about bitcoin, but no one has already listen more about blockchain, or everything more complex of "today btc is quoted ... $ ".

Well, now it's pretty clear for at least 1% of the world population that bitcoin and crypto-currencies are not a joke of some kids, and you cannot buy only chewing gum, and firearms on a blackmarket. But how many of them are really "investing" in this technology? People are looking the economic value, and not the strong potential of such innovation.

Probably in the last months, behind this enormous exploit there was a new strategy, to set up the value of crypto-currencies to another level.
Also worthless coin, or cheap coins, now have a substantial "value" and it's pretty more difficult enter into this market, and even it's hard to face a crypto-world in a continue expansion and new regulations incoming

Don't look too much the price, be patient, and hodl! your coins ;)
