Why Steemit?

When the time came to launch our company blog the obvious question of which medium to use arose. With dozens of reputable platforms with a top-notch user interface and seamless user experience, it may seem odd that we chose one with none of those appealing qualities (although improving daily!). And yet the decision to choose a blog platform still in beta phase was a fairly easy one. So what in Satoshi's name were we thinking?

Our logic is fairly clear. We at BlockchainIL, every single one of us, are not here only for financial gains we are ideologically invested in blockchain technology. We are excited by the new world of consensus protocols and of their transformative potential. From minimizing transactional friction to increasing efficiency and reducing cost for consumers to helping elevate the third world out of poverty.

At BlockchainIL we are always looking for more decentralized applications we can incorporate into our daily lives (recommendations are welcome) and we invite you, the reader, to join us in this revolution of decentralization and support the systems of the future by using them.
