How to make BTC more of a useable currency
Bitcoin has become extremely popular as it slowly moves into the mainstream light. At this point all types of investors have heard of bitcoin and many are holding on to it as the price seems to rise rather quick.
There are a couple things I've though about and one that seems to be a common topic is the use of BTC among businesses and people. Bitcoin is seen as gold and no one is really willing to spend it, but I feel with the right incentive that shouldn't be much of an issue.
The big thing I hear most around crypto is "what if" as in what if I buy something with BTC today and next week the price of BTC doubles... A lot comes to mind and the story I once saw on Reddit from years ago of someone buying pizza for 10,000 BTC and some people admitting to spending BTC on coffee from Starbucks which now would be worth a few hundred dollars for coffee seems kinda crazy lol.
A good solution would be to reimburse yourself every time you use BTC for an everyday purchase. I also think if businesses that accept crypto as a form of payment should give discounts for using crypto. This incentive alone would have people willing to spend it versus holding it like gold. For those who don't know what BTC is will soon learn as customers will notice that as a payment option.
