[ICO] " MarineCoin" 450,000 MTC for FREE & My Review

I found a really cool, one of a kind #ICO on #bitcointalk.org and I had to share it with y'all. The future success and failure of this coin completely depend on the community, not just a group of devs. You can see it from the way this ICO is conducted. I invite you to learn about MTC.

Ok, here we go. Read on if you are intrigued!

TLDR: Get your 450,000 MTCs on marineco.in. It's free. You've got nothing to lose. I've never seen another ICO that is so community oriented.

• A group of people from an IT department at a private school is developing core; name of the school is not disclosed.
• Its Github shows Bruce Wayne as the owner, which happens to the same as the ANN moderator. I would've liked to see more commits by different people, but that's okay for now.

This is how it works. MTC is giving away its 9 billion pre-mined coins FREE to 20,000 people, simply signing up for the exchange and getting involved in ANN. Signing for the exchange as part of the ICO process requires a selfie and a photo of an official ID, such as driver's license.

To qualify for the 450,000 MTCs, you must have a bitcointalk.org ID and post at least 5 "meaningful" replies in the ANN about MarineCoin in posts of related topics.

I just did this two days ago, and it's very easy. There is no need to send any money, btc or eth to anyone.

Here are the steps:

1. Go to marineco.in and click on Join Free ICO.
2. Click on 450.000MTC Free Sign Up.
3. Read instructions thoroughly and follow.
4. MTC will be deposited into the exchange account once verified. Feel free to trade on the exchange or move to a wallet.

My experience with MTC so far

Although MarineCoin doesn't meet my criteria for ICO investment due to lack of proof for many claims listed on the website, I am pleasantly surprised by many aspects of this coin.

Wallet is light, easy to install and use. Transactions are free and fast.
The wallet works well, and it was super fast to send MTCs from the exchange to the wallet. Like lightening fast for 450,000 coins. Cost: 2 MTC. I just tested out the wallet with @nylan, as soon as he hit send on his wallet, I instantly got an unconfirmed transaction appear on mine. Confirmed within 3 minutes (EDIT(Feb 10, 2018): subsequent transactions confirmed instantly) and no transaction fee.

The exchange is guaranteed to get 20,000 new users from the ICO. I think it's well-developed and there is more and more activity and volume in the exchange every day.

Don't turn your heads to us for everything, you have internet you have computer, be a part of it, we are limited to core tasks at the moment open Marinecoin twitter Instagram this is an opensource project, you can take it where ever you want no one will judge you if you try your best at it, it will benefit your investment here, ... if you have lots of Marinecoins do it for yourself, very simple.

MarineCoin is giving away all their coins to 20,000 community members who participate in the ICO. Inevitably some will sell right away, which is not even a lot of money yet. There is an opportunity for everyone here.

If we contribute to the development and promotion of this coin in any way we can, this coin could be 10 cents, or a dollar one day, or even more. Its success and future truly belong to the community. Stakehodler Concerns

I am a little cautious without having verified the code (Anyone who can review the code, go and do this, please!), and without seeing the evidence of their claims on the website, or any prior community activities, but since I've invested ZERO money, it's fine!! Barrier to entry is so low, which is fantastic for people who like to acquire more at the exchange now.

Final Thoughts

I personally participated in this ICO, and I believe in its potential. At least I think it will be a fun real-life social/economic experiment of some sort! Like can we really do this?! I think this is how businesses and projects will be run in the future, with people volunteering to take action and initiative for things they believe in.

Some people are turned off by the fact they have to provide personal information, and that's okay. We are all human beings capable of making own decisions:).
